Naga Munchetty fumed at her Charlie Stayt on Saturday’s BBC Breakfast while a segment aired, but seemed unaware she was live on TV.

The broadcast reporter, 47, directed her anger at her co-star, 59, insisting he “ignored” her, before ordering a member of the production crew to “l ‘to have”.

His meltdown began when he told a guest they could ‘have coffee’ as the helmet-clad pair filmed a live cycling play at Salford Quays.

But she quickly replied, “Uh no, Mr. Stayt. You need to go back to the studio. He’s ignoring me…again!’

You could hear him say, ‘Again, ignoring me! Can someone just come out and look for it. Please. Look… look at this. Ridiculous. Seriously, we have an hour and a half of show left to do. Can someone come out and look for it?

The BBC did not immediately respond to MailOnline for comment.

It comes just days after she accidentally said Prime Minister Boris Johnson had ‘spent his first night in jail’, meaning Boris Becker.

The former Strictly star falsely claimed the Prime Minister spent a night in jail as part of a morning newscast – that is, former Wimbledon champion Becker.

She said: “Three-time Wimbledon champion Boris Johnson spent his first night in jail.

“He was sentenced to two and a half years for concealing assets to avoid paying debts.”

She was cleared of a BBC bias probe in 2019 by then-director-general Tony Hall.

The newsreader had criticized President Donald Trump’s comments telling women of color in Congress to “go back where they came from.”

She had remarked on the breakfast show that when she heard the phrase addressed to her, she had been “embedded in racism”.

After an initial investigation revealed she had broken the rules, Tony stepped in and dismissed the charge.
