Indiana school using high-tech device that alerts lifeguards when someone is drowning


Some schools in northwest Indiana have a new plan to keep swimmers safe.

It’s a high-tech device that looks like a simple blindfold, but it can alert rescuers if someone is drowning.

The systems are used at the Hobart Aquatic Center, but you can also buy them for personal use.
