Engineering’s Senior Design Showcase is May 6 | Nebraska Today

The College of Engineering 2022 Senior Design Showcase, Nebraska’s premier design event for undergraduate engineering students, will be held from 1-3:30 p.m. on May 6 at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center.

The School of Computing’s annual event will be part of the college showcase this year. The School of Computing’s keynote, which will also include presentations by the school’s platinum and gold teams, will begin an hour earlier at noon, with the project presentation portion of the showcase beginning at 1 p.m. foreseen.

The event will feature new and innovative projects from over 70 graduate student teams. These projects reflect real-life business environments and, in some cases, collaborations with industry customers to develop products and devices that could have immediate impacts.

#### Scheduled event:

School of Computing Opening Speech | 12 p.m.-12:45 p.m.
Keynote address by Capstone Director, Dr. Chris Bohn, including presentations from Platinum and Gold team projects and an internal awards ceremony showcasing the top performing teams in engineering process software, team dynamics, communication and sponsor feedback.

Program | 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
The program will include tables for each project. Guests can see demonstrations, ask questions and find out what the students have built.

Presentations | 1:15 p.m.-4 p.m.
Students give prepared presentations on their projects.
